The Aji Fantasy looks like a yellow version of the Bishop’s Crown pepper. It has a sweet, citrusy flavor and a very mild, family-friendly heat that makes it ideal for many types of dishes. Aji Fantasy peppers average about 5,000 to 30,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), which is similar to the Bulgarian Carrot pepper and the Vegas Serrano pepper. The peppers usually have three or four flat-wings and look somewhat like flying saucers. The “flying saucer” Aji Fantasy pepper matures from green to yellow.
