The Aji Lemon pepper (also known as the Lemon Drop pepper) is a very popular pepper due to spicy flavor and colorful appearance. The heat level is significant, but not overbearing. The Aji Lemon pepper has the perfect blend of citrus tang and peppery spice, making it a very popular pepper for hot salsas and citrus-based hot sauces. Aji Lemon peppers grow on high yielding plants that can reach 3 feet in height. The Aji Lemon pepper averages about 100,000 to 150,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), which is not quite as hot as the Habanero pepper.
The peppers, which grow to about two to three inches in length, start off green and mature to a golden yellow color. During the summer months, Aji Lemon pepper plants bloom white flowers, making them beautiful plants that add a burst of bright color to any garden. For those looking for a different yellow pepper with a higher heat rating Scoville Scale, we recommend the Yellow 7 Pot, Fatalii, or Yellow Ghost pepper.

The Aji Lemons are my favorite. The seeds were fresh and easy to sprout. This is my second year growing them, I really enjoyed my crop from last year. I would strongly suggest the Ajis if you like medium spicy. They're delicious!

I love the sweet, citrusy, fruity spice that these peppers have. They are not only delicious peppers, but the plants are typically loaded with peppers. A must grow for those who like medium/hot peppers.

Wasn’t sure that I would be able to grow these in my climate but after getting some great tips from Kirk in customer service I am now two months into my grow.

I love these chile peppers. The perfect blend of spiciness and delicious flavor. Plus they're healthy. You release endorphins when you eat hot peppers to block the pain from the heat, which is why they are used to help treat all kinds of arthritis pain. Check out all of the health benefits of these things.... its amazing! ! !
