With their bright colors, Bolivian Rainbow peppers are beautiful ornamentals that actually have some surprising heat as they range from 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Heat Units. The heat level of the pepper is about the same as Tabasco and Cayenne peppers. Bolivian Rainbow peppers are Christmas-light shaped and each plant can contain dozens of peppers of multiple colors – purple, yellow, orange, and red. These ornamental peppers are very colorful and will bloom and mature throughout the year in warmer climates. They grow very well in containers and indoors as well, and as long as they have direct light. The vibrant color of Bolivian Rainbow peppers looks phenomenal in fresh salsas and salads.
At Tyler Farms, we grow our plants the old fashioned way: no pesticides, no synthetic fertilizers, and we only use all natural fertilizers like worm castings and fish emulsion.
Plants are shipped in 3 inch reusable plastic pots and are approximately 4 to 6 inches tall.
